Break so far: wonderful
I’ve started to multitask again and part of that is filling my bottle with stars as I read or watch shows..haha. I wanted to make cinnamon rolls but they were a partial failure because I didn’t have corn meal and I subbed polenta for it…which gave the rolls a slightly more grainy feel, which wasn’t a problem, but I think I’m just not a fan of the whole molasses flavoring in the recipe I used.
I…went on a long overdue Santana date with Jenn during which we did our usual creeping and commenting and it was glorious~~ Got pizza at Antica and then loitered at Fantasia for a good 3 hours heckling Steven lol. Also hang out with Teeeeef ♥ and we went on a mini-road trip lol looking for Thaibodia…
How was Thaibodia? Hm, not my favorite I think. We got pad thai with beef (?) and pineapple fried rice. The pineapple rice didn’t
have any pineapplefail, and the meat in the pad thai was unseasoned. I definitely prefer Layang Layang’s pineapple fried rice.
I also attempted to make Green Tea Chocolate Meringues but this first batch failed because
1) I used almond extract instead of vanilla, and almond extract, as I found out, is ridiculously overpowering.
2) Too much chopped chocolate, even though I bought unsweetened baking chocolate.
Next batch, I’m going to use more Matcha powder and less chopped chocolate, I think.
Currently: baking New York cheesecake….hopefully it turns out well. We’ll find out tomorrow morning.

This whole week I wanted red beans and when I went to TKettle after work today and asked the lady in English “Do you use whole red beans?” She looked at me like I was cray cray and I thought to myself maybe I should’ve asked in Chinese instead lol. Anyways They did..but I swear they were canned red beans because the sweetener tasted like syrup and it made the green tea taste funny. I miss working at Fantasia :/ Where I can wash the red beans lol get exactly what I wanted; cheaper too. But!!! The upside about New York is….cheap pizza that is gigantic like Costco slices but loaded with veggies hahahah. Anyways. I’m really hating on Easter weekend this year because it means that we have to go to work early at 8 instead of 930..Which is actually early but not..but. Ok that was inarticulate. Sorry.
What to do while waiting for clothes to dry? LIT HW ??? Need to sleep. The only reasons (but of course not really) one should stay up would be…1) watching dramas/movies 2) reading 3) getting intoxicated. All three of which I am not doing as of the moment. So, fck you too, laundry.

and I love roommate bonding…lol. It’s a long weekend, and it’s extra long because Black Hound NY is closed next week which means NO WORK. Win. Granted I don’t work a lot to begin with, but hey, that’s two extra evenings to….sleep early. :3 But! There are also three tests this week…which I am obviously not studying for by being on tumblr right now.
I miss Fantasia, and it was fun to have an excuse to text some people…geez I really want pmt. Ummmm what else. I really need to 1) read and 2) journal
3) bike and 4) explore the city more.
5) go out more, but at the same time 6) save money.
Oh. and 7) Study ._.;

For class we have to watch a vid. and Blue Valentines is on the list…how appropriate. Haven’t seen it yet, but hopefully my friends will watch it with me and….possibly turn it into a comedy….ok I don’t really have to watch it there are other movies on the list but the one I really want to see isn’t available at the library GG.
Networking event today! So conflicted as to whether or not I want to go because 1) you can….network, duh, but 2) takes effort to dress nice and compose yourself haha. But does it really? Recently (lol not recently, more like for a long time) I’ve been thinking “who is me.” And of course there are many sides to a person but what happens when they fight hahahah. Well I won’t continue this because it’ll turn into some nonsensical thing.

an interesting day I think I did terrible on the BD1 test :( Emoed for like the day and just watched drama and studied for tomorrow’s tourism test. Hopefully that will go well. Internship fair tomorrow before the test…x___x that makes me kind of apprehensive for both sigh.
I wore a necklace today! Hahaha honestly I don’t really wear necklaces but sometimes you just feel like it’s not an earring day…..ok. Sleep now, and wake up early to study and print out resumes lol. Night love.

Can you believe we’ve been here for a month? Isn’t that crazy. Time passes quickly, home piles on endlessly, and we just work through it all. Every time someone checks-in at Fantasia I get hella depressed for a bit. I miss them a lot, and I miss good pmt haha. SUBPAR NEW YORK PMT GO DIE D:< It’s bad when you have a pmt craving. It’s worse when the pmt you get isn’t that great ahah. Anyways, dinner time? :o I’ve been dry coughing recently which is really not cool, because it’s difficult to sing~~~
My cousin got a good song stuck in my head ^___^ Today I bought peanut butter but I have to remember to be careful with it as to not kill my roomie ♥ :x Well…as I’ve said, dinner time. Byeeee. Man I haven’t posted in a while ha.

For some reason, taking pictures with certain people make the pictures turn out miraculously good looking. Went to the beach today~ Fun fun fun :) The weather was pretty decent, and I got to walk through the haunted house! Lol it really wasn’t scary. Then work, then food with Tony and 小开 yay ^_^

and my shower, which doesn’t alternate between scalding hot and icy cold water…Anyways, Taiwan’s been fun. I really like the lifestyle, but at the same time, it’s freaking hot ._. It’s not so bad with A/C though. Ok so the first day of the internship was yesterday. Stood for such a long time ….. On the upside I had a coworker take me to the MRT station by her moped/motorcycle. SO FUN lol but kind of scary.
Taiwan is fun but I don’t have any friends here to talk so it’s kind of lonely. I miss my Fantasia!!!!! <3 && TC(JS)^2 So ronery. Also because this week I work 2:30-11pm, and nothing is open in the morning so I don’t go out and see people. Next week should be better provided I have energy after working 7am-3:30 to go get food and a drink. Lol anyways this week I’m just going to be lounging like a depressed child at home until I leave for work….Thinking back, while it’s a good idea to do an internship, I don’t know why I signed up for work after taking a break from work. I’m retarded. I think I’ll learn useful things, but regret it at the same time because honestly, this is my vacation and I want to turn my brain off!!!!
